Recognize that you are a sinner.
Jesus Christ came so that we could spend eternity in Heaven with God. There is no sin in Heaven, and that presents a problem because Romans 3:23 tells us "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Realize that your sin condemns you to death.
Romans 6:23 tells us "For the wages of sin is death..." This death includes eternal separation from God in a place called Hell.

Realize that God loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to become sin for you and die in your place.
Every Christmas, people celebrate Jesus' birth. At Easter, they celebrate His death and resurrection from the grave. Jesus came and died to pay the penalty for our sins. Romans 5:8 tells us "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Call upon the name of the Lord today, and you will be saved.
Now all you must do to go to Heaven is believe that Jesus died for you on the cross. When you pray to God and accept what Jesus did for you on the cross, the Bible says that you are saved. Romans 10:13 tells us "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Pray and ask Jesus to be your Saviour, and Heaven can be yours.
Pray something like this, "Lord God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus paid the penalty for my sins when He died on the cross. Please forgive me for all my sins. I accept this wonderful gift of salvation and thank You that I will be with You in Heaven when I die. In Jesus' name, Amen."
